HOW WE MAKE OUR BESPOKE FURNITURE

Our solid & quality farmhouse planktop table and benches are hand made to order in our workshop by our skilled joiners.

We use fully seasoned Kiln Dried Wood Planks for the Table Tops and implement only the best techniques in the true art of Mortice and Tenon Joints & Dovetail Joints. This will ensure your piece will last for generations to come.

The chairs are sourced by us, fully refurbished and freshly re-upholstered in your choice of fabric from our range of fabrics.

We hold various styles of chairs in stock but mainly source them as per customer request.

If we do not hold suitable chairs in stock in your preferred style, and you would like us to source a set for you, we can do this for you.

A 25% deposit will be payable prior to us sourcing the set. We cannot guarantee to be able to source an identical set of chairs to your requirements, as all sets are unique, however we will source a set as close as possible to your requirements.

Once you have decided on your style of chairs and table size, please
email us with a detailed description of what you would like to purchase. We will then discuss finishes with you and chair options.

FINISHES

The bases of all pieces of furniture are lightly sanded, primed and hand painted with layers of luscious paint in Farrow & Ball.

If you would like an alternative paint brand to the above mentioned, you may otherwise choose your own paint finish.
This must be agreed prior to a quote being submitted to you, as a fee of 25 will apply.

The table tops are oiled in Danish oil in medium Georgian Oak or Jacobean Dark oak. A different shade may be applied, or you may choose wax.
If you would prefer an alternative finish to your table top, this will incur 15 which will be added to your quote.




BENCH & TABLE SIZES

We can make any size table or bench.

Our standard benches with straight legs measure 20cm width.
Our benches with farmhouse legs are 30cm width.
Our Farmhouse tables are 80cm in width made up of 10cm solid kiln dried planks.

We can make the table and bench wider for you if required, however, for each extra plank added in width there is an additional charge of 50 per extra plank on top of the quoted price.

Adding extra planks to the table top require a wider table and bench base,this will make the table more heavy which may require 2 people to work on your table.
We would not advise a table wider than 100cm due to the weight of the overall table.

PAYMENT

Once you have confirmed you would like to go ahead with the order, the full amount would be payable prior to us commencing work on the furniture.

We also offer an instalment payment of paying 25% to reserve the set and the balance upon completion.

We can only offer this method of payment, if the customer agrees to pay the balance in full within 24 hours of completion of the set.
Otherwise the set must paid in full prior to us commencing work on the set.

If this is not adhered to we reserve the right to sell the set on and retain the deposit paid.

We shrink wrap the sets ready for despatch 48 hours prior to collection of the set. If you would like your set   collected on a Monday, the latest we can shrink wrap a set will be Thursday afternoon as it takes half a day to shrink wrap a set. We will not shrink wrap the set until the full balance has been made.
 
We ask for a 4 to 6 week lead time from cleared payment to completion of your order, which is when the balance will be payable.

We may be able to complete your order sooner depending on the workload at the time of placing your order.

Please email if you would like the set sooner than our estimated lead times and we will let you know if we can accommodate.

We will aim to have the set ready by the end of the lead time but sometimes may encounter slight delays which we will let you keep you informed of.

Even though we aim to have the set ready by the end of the estimated lead time, we cannot guarantee your chosen courier will be able to collect the very next day as this will depend on the couriers ruotes.

Once the set is complete, the courier may then be arranged.

The courier will liaise with you direct for a suitable delivery date.
