HOW WE MAKE OUR BESPOKE FURNITURE
Our solid & quality planktop table and benches are hand made to order in our workshop by our skilled joiners.
We use Solid Quality Grade A, fully seasoned Kiln Dried Wood for the Table Tops. Implementing only the best techniques, some of which include Mortice and Tenon Joints & Dovetail Joints where applicable. This will ensure your piece will last for generations to come.
We do not use reclaimed wood for the table tops which is of inferior quality and has a tendency to warp with time due to high humidity levels.
Both our farmhouse and industrial style tables come with legs which unscrew and will require a minimum amount of assembly upon arrival. We will supply full instructions on how to assemble your tables and benches.
Each table top is unique, planed and sanded to a smooth finish, using only the best quality oils and waxes to protect the wood, offering a beautiful, durable, rustic and hardwearing finish.
We use only the best and strongest quality legs for both our Farmhouse and Indstrial Sets, handmade in the UK by master craftsmen.
If you opt for our Farmhouse tables, we offer various style legs which you can see in our Farmhouse Set section.
If you opt for our Industrial tables, we offer various style legs which you can see in our Industrial Set section.
The hairpin legs for our Industrial tables are made from 12mm thick steel and are incredibly robust and able to hold over 120kg in weight. Made with authentic double welding and engineered to strict ISO 9001 quality standards. They come with clip on floor protectors to avoid damage on delicate floors.
You may otherwise opt for our steel bases in a range of different styles.
All our industrial set bases have a powder coating and come in a range of colour finishes.
The chairs we offer with our industrial sets are brand new and require some assembly, full instructions are also provided. Please take a look at the chairs we offer with our Industrial sets.
The vintage chairs which are offered with our farmhouse sets are sourced by us, fully refurbished and freshly re-upholstered in your choice of fabric from our range of fabrics.
You may choose your chairs from our range of chairs held in stock.
If we do not hold suitable chairs in stock in your preferred style, and you would like us to source a set for you, we can do this for you. This will incur a sourcing fee.
A 25% deposit will be payable prior to us sourcing the set. We cannot guarantee to be able to source an identical set of vintage chairs to your requirements, as all sets are unique, however we will source a set as close as possible to your requirements.
Once you have decided on your style of chairs and table size, please email us with a detailed description of what you would like to purchase. We will then discuss finishes with you and chair options.

FINISHES
The bases of all pieces of farmhouse furniture are lightly sanded, primed and hand painted with layers of luscious paint in Farrow & Ball. You may choose from:
New White
or
Purbeck Stone
If you would like an alternative paint finish or brand to the above mentioned, you may otherwise choose your own paint finish.
This must be agreed prior to a quote being submitted to you, as a fee of £25 will apply.
The table tops on both the Farmhouse and Industrial sets are finished with Osmos Fiddes Hard Wax Oil which offers the following:
A protective hard wax oil
Scratch and scuff resistant whilst protecting against liquid spills
Does not crack, flake, peel or blister
Dries to a soft satin sheen
Easily maintained and restored
Safe for humans, animals and plants when dry
Very High VOC
You may choose from various finishes. Please email for finishes available.

We offer the following size tables and benches for both ranges.
If you would like your bench to be able to fit under your table, we recommend you choose a bench 30cm shorter than your table length.

PAYMENT
Once you have confirmed you would like to go ahead with the order, the full amount would be payable prior to us commencing work on the furniture.
We also offer an instalment payment of paying 25% to reserve the set and the balance upon completion.
We can only offer this method of payment, if the customer agrees to pay the balance in full within 24 hours of completion of the set.
Otherwise the set must paid in full prior to us commencing work on the set.
If this is not adhered to we reserve the right to sell the set on and retain the deposit paid.
We shrink wrap the sets ready for despatch 48 hours prior to collection of the set. If you would like your set collected on a Monday, the latest we can shrink wrap a set will be Thursday afternoon as it takes half a day to shrink wrap a set. We will not shrink wrap the set until the full balance has been made.
Please ask for our current lead times when you place your order as these vary between
2 to 8 weeks from cleared payment to completion of your order, which is when the balance will be payable. Our lead times may vary during our busy periods. We will let you know what the estimated lead time is at the time of order.
We may be able to complete your order sooner depending on the workload at the time of placing your order.
Please email if you would like the set sooner than our estimated lead times and we will let you know if we can accommodate.
We will aim to have the set ready by the end of the lead time but sometimes may encounter slight delays which we will let you keep you informed of.
